Park Metrics Skill Summit

Park Metrics is the premiere and only source of benchmarking data for the field of parks and recreation. Park professionals nationwide use data from Park Metrics to track the growth of their programs, spaces and communities year-over-year and compare themselves to agencies at the local, state and/or national levels to better understand the field and how they compare to comparable and aspirational peers. Park leaders also use Park Metrics data to demonstrate community needs and advocate for their agencies and communities.  

Whether you have never used Park Metrics and need the basics or are a seasoned user and want to learn how to maximize its benefits for your community, this course provides a self-paced, flexible learning experience for park and recreation professionals at agencies of all sizes and budgets. 

This self-paced Skill Summit will explain the Park Metrics system and walk learners through:

• Contributing your agency’s data to the Park Metrics database 
• Retrieving national and custom data from the Park Metrics system
