Welcome to NRPA's Speaker Concierge! This area will provide resources and training for those who are looking to engage as a speaker at NRPA Education events such as the NRPA Annual Conference, virtual events and webinars, NRPA schools, or for those looking to generally become better public speakers and advocates for their agency. When you are accepted to present for the NRPA community, your presentation will likely be viewed by hundreds of park and recreation professionals. Whether your session is 15 minutes or a full day, preparation is the single most important part of producing a successful presentation.

NRPA Annual Conference


The NRPA Annual Conference is the premier event for park and recreation professionals and the optimal opportunity for you to get your message in front of thousands. This highly competitive speaking opportunity accepts only about 20% of applications through a committee review process. Below are some resources and information to help you be successful in producing a conference presentation that will be the highlight of this annual event.

Conference Live Polling


Conference presenters have the ability to engage the live in-person audience through live polling connected with the NRPA Annual Conference App. Courtesy of Conferences i/o, in addition to collecting attendance to provide CEUs at the event, there is the ability to produce live polling, Q&A, and even "quiz battles!"

NRPA Live is the live streamed and recorded sessions from the NRPA Annual Conference. Sessions are carefully curated to provide a rich conference experience. NRPA Live presenters must consider the multiple audiences for which their presentation reaches (in-person, live virtual audience, and archive viewers) as they design and present their conference sessions.
