CPSI Course Manual

You may think a playground can be built in a day, but in reality, exciting, engaging, challenging and safe playgrounds are an effort representing hours of work by designers, architects, landscapers, installers, suppliers and laypeople.

In this fashion the CPSI course and course manuals are very similar. As a finished product this program represents the contributions of countless individuals who gave their time, their expertise, their advice and their energy to create something from which we can all benefit.

Special thanks are given to the NRPA’s National Playground Safety Institute (NPSI, 1993-2010) and the dedicated professional CPSI course instructors for their hard-work and invaluable subject matter expertise in helping to create and develop the Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) course and course materials.
