Join us for NRPA's BioBlitz Planning Hub Call!
NRPA is hosting a BioBlitz Planning Hub Call on June 24, 2025 at 1 p.m. ET designed to support agencies in planning and marketing their BioBlitz events. This event will feature two speakers, Karyn Molines (Calvert County, MD), and Mari Barnes (Riverside, IL). Karyn Molines is in the Natural Resources department at Calvert County, and will speak on how the BioBlitz supports park maintenance—drawing on her experience using the BioBlitz data to inform maintenance practices. Mari Barnes is a grant manager at Riverside Park District and will speak on moving to a low-tech BioBlitz, troubleshooting technology challenges and making space for intergenerational teaching. Whether this is your first year or your seventh year BioBlitzing, we hope you will join us to learn and share tips from your BioBlitz journey!

NRPA’s On-Demand Talks feature subject matter experts presenting a wide range of topics that impact the work of park and recreation professionals. Available for a full year from their release date, learn from these videos when it works best for you! One virtual talk per month is also a part of the yearly Premier Learning Series.
Clinics (variable CEU)
NRPA's Clinics invite participants to discover new skills and concepts through live, hands-on virtual learning. Learners will be able to take their newfound skills and real-world applications back to their agencies!
Sandboxes (no CEU)
NRPA’s Sandboxes foster online networking opportunities, enabling participants to discuss timely topics within the Parks and Recreation field and gain valuable insights from peers nationwide.

NRPA Certificates
NRPA’s Certificate Programs offer engaging, interactive training designed to help professionals in the park and recreation field deepen their expertise. These programs award a certificate upon completion—making them excellent resume boosters and a smart way to stay sharp! Certificates are asynchronous, so learners can complete them on their own schedule.
Equity in Practice
Equity is central to all of NRPA’s work as an organization. NRPA's upcoming and recent online learning events that discuss centering equity to support park and recreation professionals in their work to create fair and just park and recreation systems.
NRPA Staff Training Resource Center
The NRPA Staff Training Resource Center allows agency staff contacts to access free NRPA learning materials to share with their wider staff. These resources are available for download and use by agencies for professional development needs.
Please note that these are not available for CEU. The primary contact for an agency's Premier Membership will be the staff member registered for the staff resource training center.
