With decreasing numbers of recreation graduates across the country, recruiting new staff members has become more challenging than ever before. This session will provide strategies for before, during and after the college recruitment fair to bring more students to your table and applications to your organization. We will cover social media strategies, creating your perfect pitch, attracting students to your table, and closing the deal so that you can bring in more new hires and advance your mission in 2026.

Learning Objectives:

1. Attendees will be able to effectively give a 30-second pitch describing their organization and the benefits of working there.

2. Attendees will be able to leverage relevant social media and communication strategies to increase their reach on college campuses.

3. Attendees will be able to design a recruiting table and materials that attract and engage students.
