Virtual Talks

NRPA’s virtual Talks feature knowledgeable subject matter experts presenting on timely insights from research and practice.

Twice per quarter in 2022, we will feature a virtual Talk that is a part of the 2022 Monthly Virtual Learning Subscription. Each of these virtual Talks offer 0.1 Continuing Education Unit (CEU).

The 2022 learning calendar will spotlight Equity in Practice. Each month will feature at least one virtual Talk showcasing insights, innovations and next practices around diversity, equity, inclusion and justice from practitioners in the field.

All other virtual Talks throughout the year will cover a wider range of topics that impact the work of park and recreation professionals. These are scheduled as new topics arise, drawing on NRPA’s work with grantees, partners and more. Check this page regularlyfor updates on upcoming Virtual Talks. Virtual Talks that offer 0.1 CEU will cost $35 for all NRPA members and $50 for nonmembers.

Virtual Sandboxes

NRPA’s virtual Sandboxes create online networking experiences for participants to talk shop, compare notes and swap advice around hot topics in the field.

Once per quarter in 2022, we will feature a virtual Sandbox that is a part of the 2022 Monthly Virtual Learning Subscription. Virtual Sandboxes do not offer CEUs.

Virtual Clinics

NRPA's virtual Clinics invite participants to discover new skills and concepts through hands-on learning. Participants will immediately apply these concepts to real-life examples through workshop activities. They will be able to take their newfound skills and these real-world applications back to their agencies. The 2022 learning calendar spotlights Equity in Practice with quarterly virtual Clinics.
