On-Demand Learning
Education Talks
NRPA’s virtual education Talks feature knowledgeable subject matter experts presenting on timely insights from research and practice. NRPA virtual Talks provide multiple new on-demand learning opportunities each month and cover a wider range of topics that impact the work of park and recreation professionals. One virtual talk per month is also a part of the Monthly Virtual Learning Subscription, and each virtual Talk offers 0.1 Continuing Education Unit (CEU).
Live Virtual Events
Sandboxes
NRPA’s Sandboxes create online networking experiences for participants to talk shop, compare notes and swap advice around hot topics in the field. Virtual Sandboxes do not offer CEU.
Clinics
NRPA's Clinics invite participants to discover new skills and concepts through hands-on virtual learning. Participants will immediately apply these concepts to real-life examples through workshop activities. They will be able to take their newfound skills and these real-world applications back to their agencies.
Equity in Practice
The 2023 learning calendar spotlights Equity in Practice, featuring at least one on demand Talk or live virtual Clinic each month showcasing insights, innovations and next practices around diversity, equity, inclusion and justice from practitioners in the field.
