To maximize sensory experiences for people of all abilities, Rain Drop strives to be the leading provider of inclusive Sprayground and waterpark designs and products. Our Universally Designed projects and products that have form and function that are inherently accessible to everyone, without having to modify the items to be accessible. We at Rain Drop Products embrace universal design practices by considering a broad spectrum of needs and abilities when designing projects and products. We not only design Spraygrounds, but can give recommendations on surfacing, shade, seating, fencing, and other aspects of your design in order to provide you with the most inclusive final design possible.


Learning Objective:

  • A basic understanding of the principles of Inclusive Play and how they can be applied to children's recreational environments.


Session Length: 20 minutes (Speed Session)


NRPA Education online learning content is accessible for 180 days from the date of your registration.  The learning content is available for registration for three years from the date of origination.

President/CEO

Mark Williams, CEO and President of RainDrop Products, is an advocate for inclusive play. He has presented at many venues concerning Inclusive Aquatic Play. Mark’s experience in the aquatics industry began in 2009.  Mark’s portfolio includes working with aquatic designers and engineers on several projects, Mark has worked with aquatic engineers Mark is a proven leader of niche manufacturing / service entities. He has a successful track record managing all phases of a growing business. Mark’s combination of a formal education in both law and communications and 15 years as CEO/President/Owner in four distinct industries has provided him with a diverse skill set. It is through Mark’s wide range of experiences and abilities, including everything from sales to finance that makes him uniquely qualified to lead.

Education: University of Denver (Sturm College of Law), Colorado State University

Mark is a member of the following Associations: International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, World Waterpark Association, The Association of Pool and Spa Professionals, National Recreation and Park Association.
