Learning Objectives
Following this session, learners will be able to:
- Access and utilize existing resources to strengthen out-of-school time programming to support kids and families.
- Implement tips to support social-emotional learning and health of kids during this transition period.
- Scale lessons learned from a peer agency to ensure kids have access to educational opportunities, regardless of distance learning challenges.

Erin Hegarty
Executive Associate, Afterschool Alliance
Erin joined the Afterschool Alliance team in August 2018. As the Special Assistant to the Executive Director, she gives program and administrative support to the Executive Director. Erin graduated from the College of William & Mary in May 2018 with a B.A. in American Studies and a minor in History. During her undergraduate career, she volunteered with an afterschool tutoring and mentorship program in a local subsidized housing community.
Daniel Hatcher
Director of Community Partnerships, Alliance for a Healthier Generation
Daniel W. Hatcher serves as Director of Community Partnerships for the Alliance for a Healthier Generation. At the Alliance, Daniel is responsible for managing and delivering technical assistance services and resources for out-of-school time sites as they work to achieve National Healthy Eating and Physical Activity Standards. Daniel has a BA in International Relations and a Masters of Public Health, both from Western Kentucky University. Maureen Neumann
Program Manager

Maureen Neumann is a Program Manager for the National Recreation and Park Association. As a part of the Health and Wellness team, she focuses on healthy out-of-school time programming and inclusive practices in parks and recreation.
